PICNIC IN THE PARK

We are pleased to announce that our Samelan will take place as a “Picnic in the Park” at
Lightwoods Park and House, Adkins Lane, Bearwood, B67 5DP on
Sunday, 16th July 2023 from 11.00am to 4.00pm
We have secured a private area in the gardens with a dedicated marquee and toilets for our use. There will also be access to the larger area of the main park facilities. Lunch will be provided (veg and non-veg) and you are also welcome to bring your own. Regretfully, this year there will be no BBQ facilities. A paying bar will be available for alcoholic drinks and you are free to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages.
You and your family members are cordially inivited to attend this special event, especially our younger brothers and sisters. This is an ideal opportunity for them to get to know about their Gam and meet their fellow Bodali Gamvasi here in the UK and at the same time enjoy a great day out.
This is an ideal opportunity for us to discuss and debate current issues and plan for the future. Furthermore we would like to update you on the current affairs from our Gam.

GENERAL APPEAL
We ask each NEW working member of your family and those who have not donated as yet to consider making a once in a lifetime donation of £100 towards our Endowment Fund. This will elp us achieve our development goals for the future. If you are a taxpayer, your donation will attract a gift aid, adding a further £25 to our funds. Please do seriously consider donating this year as even very little donation helps to improve facilities in our Gam and helps to improve facilities in our Gam and make Bodali “Simply the Best”. Cash or transfers are gratefully received by our Treasurer at the Samelan (transfer details can also be obtained from the Treasurer).
