Samelaan – 2011 – Formal Invite

We are pleased to announce that our Samelaan will take place on Sunday 11^th September 2011 at : Shree Krishna Mandir, Old Meeting Street, West Bromwich, B70 9SZ.

You and your family are cordially invited to attend. We would also like to request you to invite your sisters and daughters together with their families on our behalf to join us.This year we have changed the format of the Samelaan and apart from getting-together with our Gamvasis, we would like you all to participate in the Raas and Garba programme after lunch, so please remember to bring your Dandias and join in the fun!

If you have any old or new Photographs about Bodali which we can display, please would you be so kind and send them to us before the Samelaan? Please write your name on the back so they can be returned to you.

There will also be a short talk on helpful procedures to follow when changing names for inherited land or property in Bodali. In view of that we are intending to ask for the Talati’s (Jigneshbhai) help in compiling a suggested list of documents needed. If you have any general questions (not personal) you wish to ask, please can you forward to us by 27/8/11 and we will endeavour to get as many answers as we can.

Finally, we are very grateful to the West Bromwich Bodalivasi for hosting the event and, as in the past, we sincerely welcome any cash donations for food and items for raffle prizes. Please remember that your presence will make a great difference to the success of OUR Samelaan and we look forward to seeing you all.
