There is a cafe on site which provides both hot and cold food as well as drinks including beer.

To book your place on the coach please ring a committee member from your region as soon as possible. For more information please refer to the attached poster or contact a committee member from your region.

On a more sombre note it is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Dr Pravinbhai Patel. He was a kind and a generous man and a valued member of BSMUK. In the past he was a vice president and a committtee member of BSMUK.  BSMUK pray to bhagawan to give DR Pravinbhai’s soul eternal peace and his family the strengh to carry on.

He and his family have done a lot for Bodali Gam such as holding a Bhagawat Katha, providing filtered  water by funding the R.O.Plant and also a water chiller plant. Recently his family travelled to India and provided lunch for all the people in Gam. They have also laid down the foundation stone for the Cricket pavilion at Galiwala cricket ground. The building work will start after the monsoon season. BSMUK sincerely thank him and his family for all the generous donations to Bodali Gam and his ceaseless service both in the UK and India.

Other projects which were carred out in Gam over the past year are:

  • New build of toilets for pupils and staff at Bodali School
  • Additional street lights have been installed on the main road from Bhutiawad to Jalapore.

Dr Ramanbhai Patel funded both of these projects and Ramanbhai Motibhai Patel was instrumental in over-seeing these. BSMUK sincerely thank both  Dr Ramanbhai and his family for their financial support and Ramanbhai Motibhai for his considerable hard work in finishing these projects.

Bodali Gam has a new Gam Seva Mandal Committe and the new sarpanch is Shree Kantibhai Thakorbhai Halpati. Shree Randhirbhai who was the previous sarpanch is now the deputy sarpanch.

Shree Anilbhai has now retired as the school headmaster and has been replaced by Shreemati Savitaben.

Once again Namaste and thank you all. BSMUK committee members are looking forward to meeting you and your family at the Samelan – “Picnic in the Park” at Coombe Abbey Park on Sunday 23rd July 2017.
